Guitar, Online

Wow! I love Daniel's approach to teaching, he was able to explain things in a way that made sense. After a few session he addressed a few issues I was having and setup plan that allowed me overcoming those struggles. Not only have I improved, im feeling more confident as a guitarist. I'm very excited to continue learning with Daniel as my teacher and I highly recommend him!

My son really looks forward to his lesson with Daniel. The method Daniel uses is working. My son is taking on-line lessons and in just a few lessons he's learned a lot. Daniel is very understanding and explain things clearly.

Electric Guitar

Daniel is an excellent teacher who patiently covered all of the issues that I needed help with. I have had advanced training in music, and he helped me more than most of my previous teachers ever did. I would highly recommend him without hesitation!

Guitar, Online

In this Online session, Daniel was able to give some wisdom about guitar use, history and his own experience learning guitar for the first time. Being a beginner he gave me some exercises to practice on my guitar which helped with chord progression and technique (Hands were on fire!). Very understanding when it came to internet connection issues and helped me to learn my favorite song! Definitely recommend him for a lesson.

Frequently Asked Questions
What advice would you give to someone looking for a guitar teacher?

Find someone who is both knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. If either of these qualities are lacking then the teacher/student relationship will not last.

Where do you teach your lessons?

Due to the pandemic I currently only provide lessons over the internet. I use Skype, Google Hangout, and TakeLessons.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a broad range of students from children age 7 to recent retirees, from pure beginners in music to seasoned players looking to expand their skill set.

What types of music do you teach?

Easy answer is anything except for blues and jazz. I'm very familiar with classical guitar, heavy metal, alternative rock, classic rock, acoustic, country; the list goes on.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First step is to find out what kind of experience the student has, both on guitar and with music in general. Next step is to find out what each student wants to learn. After that I come up with a lesson plan personalized for the student. Overall it's pretty simple.

How often do I need to practice?

Typically the length of the lesson at least 4 other days a week. Short daily practice is much more effective than large chunks 1 or 2 days a week.
